2018年7月 "Children of Nine Seven" birthday party
To celebrate the "Children of 1997" birth cohort study and the participants of "Children of 1997" turning 21 together, the School of Public Health of the University of Hong Kong held a grand birthday party at Luk Yau Hall of the University of Hong Kong on July 28, 2018. In addition to nearly 500 participants, we also invited the famous artist Mr. Lin Yikuang, international relations scholar Dr. Shen Xuhui and the old student of the University of Hong Kong Mr. Luo Yongcong to celebrate together. In the sharing session, they shared their thoughts and experiences under the titles "Me in 1997" and "Me in 21".

The "Children of 1997" research team launched two rounds of health follow-up programs from August 2013 to January 2016 and 2017, and conducted health checks for participants to understand their own health conditions. For the convenience of "Children of 1997" participants who live in various districts, checkpoints are set up at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sha Tin, Yau Ma Tei and North Point.

Dr. Mary Schooling,research groupMembers and members of "Children of 1997" living in Tin Shui Wai and Tuen Mun districts went to Kingswood Ginza Broadway Theater in Tin Shui Wai to watch "Wreck-It Ralph 3D".
2012年12月 Christmas Tram Party
Professor Leung Cheuk-wai, Dr. Li Sulun and more than 20 families of "Children of 1997" members who participated in the 2012 health follow-up plan participated in the "Christmas Tram Party". Since most of the families were attending a tram party for the first time, everyone was very excited. Members of the research team and a group of families enjoyed a pleasant tram ride!

Dr. Mary Schooling, members of the research team and more than 50 families of "Children of 1997" members enjoyed the Hong Kong Children's Symphony Orchestra winter concert. The orchestra's two concerts were held in the Auditorium of the Sha Tin Town Hall and the Auditorium of the Kwai Tsing Theatre, respectively. The performances of the symphony orchestra on both nights were very exciting, allowing all audiences to enjoy a wonderful musical journey!

Several members of the research team and 12 families of the "Children of 1997" not only visited the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Hong Kong, but also had lunch with Professor Lin Daqing, then head of the Department of Social Medicine of the University of Hong Kong.
